SubverseLab: Plugins and Tools for Music Producers

SubverseLab builds plugins for macOS and Windows (VST3 and AU; KIYMA, ALEV and TABAN are free) and browser tools for arranging, generating, measuring, mixing and separating music. The tools run in the browser with nothing to install and are free to start; some ask for a free account. Where a tool has a daily limit, the credits that come with any plugin purchase pay for more.

JING FANG · Black Friday · 27 November – 1 December 2026

Black Friday: JING FANG is free. From 27 November 2026, 00:00 to 1 December 2026, 00:00 (Istanbul time), the whole microtonal synthesizer is free instead of $150: the current release, the full instrument, yours to keep. Until then it is $60.

BOE-B · free vocal plugin · 19 November

Dedicated to Boe B (1970–2000), a pioneer of rap in Turkish. Play it eight seconds of your song and it tells you why the vocal sounds dull: the level, words that drop, missing presence, mud or no air. Then it lifts the voice where it needs it, in one move. A free plugin, and a thank-you to the voice that started it all.

TORNA · graphic equalizer · out now

The hi-fi graphic equalizer, back on your desk. Twelve sliders for each channel, modelled part by part from a 1983 service schematic, with a spectrum analyzer glowing in the middle and the original's NOR/REV switch. Shape a master, bring a vocal forward, give drums their weight, by eye and by ear. Presets to start from, your own to save. $12, standalone app, VST3 and AU.

Back by popular demand · the plugin family

You asked for it: the SubverseLab plugin family is back. When the launch offer closed, the messages did not stop, so we put the whole family back in one box. KUBBE, KASET, KORO, YANKI, HAVA, MIHENK and TUTKAL: reverb, tape colour, vocal doubling, echo, air, bus glue and mastering, for $39.99 instead of $115 one by one. One checkout, and every one of them opens on your account for macOS and Windows.

JING FANG · microtonal synthesizer

$60 instead of $150. A synthesizer that plays between the keys. Three keyboard rows on a 53-step grid put the notes of maqam and other non-Western melodies exactly where they belong, and it can learn a tuning from a recording. Stuck on a blank pattern? GENERATE writes a melody, a bass line, chords, an arp rhythm or a beat straight onto the piano roll, where you shape every note; not quite it, mutate it and keep what works. Launch price until 1 December 2026.

Tester programme

Test our plugins, keep them free. Every released SubverseLab plugin is yours, free, for as long as you test with us, and every report you send shapes what we build next. We pick testers so that every operating system and DAW is covered, and a person reads every application.

Apply for a seat

ELEK · stem separation app

Pull any song apart, right on your own computer. Drop in a track and ELEK splits it into stems, takes the vocal out, and tells you its key and tempo. Nothing is uploaded anywhere: it runs on your machine, so you can remix, sample and practise with any record you own.

Free plugins

Start for free, keep them forever. TABAN is a limiter that sets a floor instead of a ceiling. ALEV puts three rings of heat on any sound. KIYMA minces your last phrase in time with your song. Free downloads, no card, no licence key to type.

Browser tools · credits

Every plugin you buy also powers our browser tools. Each dollar you spend adds 100 tool credits to your account. Check a mix, split a song or map an arrangement right in the browser: your daily free use comes first, and your credits pick up from there.
