A bucket-brigade delay that listens to the phrase and waits for its end. Coming soon · VST3 and AU on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) · VST3 on Windows.
SEDA is a bucket-brigade analog delay: 8192 stages, companded, from 20 to 1200 ms, with feedback up to 110 %. LISTEN is what sets it apart: the delay listens to the phrase, ducks the echo while you play or sing, and throws it at the end of the phrase.
How SEDA opens: TIME 300 ms, FEEDBACK 30 %, MIX 50 %, LISTEN off. The VU meter shows the wet level and the red needle the duck depth.
LISTEN on, the LED display at program P1 VOCAL: the echo ducks while you play or sing (DUCK 60 %) and is thrown at the end of the phrase (THROW 6 dB).
SYNC and AUTO on: the delay time follows the host tempo as a NOTE value, from 1/32 to dotted 1/1. Here the LED display reads P0 MANUAL with a repeat note of 1/8.
